Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Windmill Computing has today adopted a full working at home policy. We shall compare customer orders with supplier shipments and allow one member of staff to visit the office to pick and pack when there is sufficient volume to justify. We have instructed couriers to divert deliveries to a staff member's home address.

Windmill Computing Limited is committed to reducing the spread of Coronavirus and follows the Government's advice. Windmill will release updates via its Twitter feed - please follow us. Windmill has implemented several changes to its working practices:

  • Using our VPN, all staff are working from home by connecting to their PC in the office.
  • From Monday 23rd March, all staff bar one is working from home.
  • At times, the telephone lines may divert to a colleague at home.
  • If possible, please email instead of telephoning.
As a distribution business with physical stock stored on the premises, one person is required in the office to pick and pack items for customer orders and receive stock from manufacturers. Staff will share this role.
