Printing and Rewriting<\/span><\/h2>\n

Evolis Primacy 2 incorporates the printing technology of sublimation to create colourful cards and thermal transfer for monochrome cards. Additionally, you can also print on rewritable cards using the rewrite technology of the Primacy 2. This feature allows you to print, erase and reprint the same card in just a few short seconds and up to 500 times.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Both economical and practical, this product is handy when issuing temporary cards and badges and those that are likely to be regularly updated, such as visitor badges and student cards.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Primacy 2 card printer provides an output capacity suitable for medium and large runs and high-quality printing. Primacy 2 has a printing speed of up to 280 cards per hour. In addition, it has a 100 – or 200-card feeder, producing a high level of productivity and autonomy.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

On top of this, its high-resolution printing mode, alongside its colourimetric profile, allows you to achieve high-quality rendering for all your cards.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

High-Level Security\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

The Evolis Primacy 2 allows you to choose your level of security depending on your requirements. This can be done using encoded contact or contactless chips with magnetic strips with our encoders. You can choose the ones you need upon purchase or add them throughout the life of your Primacy 2.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

You can also add UV effects to your card via the overlay layer of the colour ribbons associated with the lamination module to provide even further security.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Furthermore, a double overlayer ensures optimised durability for your cards. The double layer of varnish protects the card from wear and abrasion.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Ecologically, Primacy 2 also prints onto a non-plastic CR80 credit card-sized paper cards. When used in conjunction with the Evolis High Trust\u00ae paper cards C2511 or C2501 and with Evolis BLACKFLEX ribbon this printer offers the ideal alternative to PVC for businesses wishing to reduce their plastic consumption without compromising quality.<\/span><\/p>\n

These are ideal when colour personalisation is not required; paper cards are printed in black mono only. Evolis recommends paper cards for short-term usage (events, visitor identification, luggage tags) or cards facing low physical stress (gift cards, loyalty cards).<\/span><\/p>\n
